In detail<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The aim is for future graduates and professionals to improve their knowledge of timber and its various uses, to enhance the quality of on-site implementation and to master good practice. <\/p>\n

With public and private contractors, the aim will be to interest them in the technical and socio-economic advantages of timber construction, and to encourage them to specify timber for large-scale projects, by dispelling preconceived ideas in this respect. <\/p>\n

The planned activities include study trips, visits to exemplary buildings, conferences, meetings between timber construction professionals and between professionals and public and private contractors on a particular theme, as well as visits to building sites, companies and completed buildings, the design of a “sales pitch” aimed at public contracting authorities and property developers, the publication of brochures showcasing exemplary buildings, and the organisation of a trans-regional architecture prize.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
